Make use of the 9 different ski areas around the hotel, the hotel’s own miniature golf course, our children’s adventure playground, numerous hiking and cycling routes, and much more. Our hotel near Innsbruck offers many excursion destinations all year round and also provides guests with a varied leisure programme at the hotel itself.
Our summer activities
Minigolf (18-hole course)
Spend an entertaining day together with your loved ones on our 18-hole mini golf course, directly in the hotel garden. For € 8,50/person and day you can prove your talent and enjoy the fresh air.
Nordic Walking
Do you want to do a bit of sport and enjoy the surrounding landscape? We recommend trying Nordic Walking. In the area around our hotel near Innsbruck you will find lots of walking routes that you can use to clear your head and keep fit. You can get Nordic Walking poles from the reception for € 16,00 per day.
Swimming
Our natural swimming pool is the perfect place to cool off on hot summer days. Take a leap into the cold pool and enjoy the views of the surrounding mountain landscape. If you would prefer a whirlpool over our natural swimming pool, we recommend paying a visit to our small wellness oasis.
Children’s playground (open from 10.00am to 12.00am)
Our adventure playground is directly next to the hotel. There your children can run riot and play on the climbing wall and the giant trampoline. They can also play table tennis, air hockey and table football, and much more.
Nature hikes
Our hotel in the area surrounding Innsbruck is perfect for nature lovers. There are many hiking paths starting from the hotel that will take you through the Tyrolean mountain landscape. You can also use our 4-day package, which costs € (derzeit nicht im Angebot) pp, to go on guided hikes (incl. binoculars and with a hiking guide).
Tennis
Do you love the small felt ball that’s famous all over the world, from Wimbledon to Roland Garros? Forget about the stresses of everyday life and let off some steam with a game of tennis. Our hotel guests can use the nearby tennis court to learn and to perfect their game.
Cycling and mountain biking
Are you nature-conscious and a sport-lover? Go cycling or mountain biking with your loved ones and discover the mountainous landscape of the Tyrolean Alps. For €12 per day, you can rent a bike and helmet from our hotel.
Riding
Have you brought your horse on holiday or do you want to learn to ride? Our hotel near Innsbruck is a starting point for numerous bridleways. In addition, we have a riding arena, as well as a jumping arena and dressage arena, just a few minutes’ walk from the hotel that beginners and advanced riders can use to learn and hone their skills. Are you passionate about sport and want to eat up kilometres? Our E-bikes are the perfect solution. With a long tour, you can discover the surrounding Tyrolean mountain landscape. For € 45,00 per day, you can rent an E-bike and helmet for an entire day.

Skiing
Anyone that comes to Tyrol in winter has one main objective: enjoying the snow. And where better to do this than out on the piste? In the area around our hotel near Innsbruck you will find 9 different ski areas, where you can enjoy a spot of skiing.
Cross-country skiing
Directly from our hotel near Innsbruck a cross-country ski run leads into the Tyrolean mountains. On this trail hotel guests can explore the surroundings and pursue their favourite sport. The classic cross-country skiing equipment (skis, shoes, sticks) is available for € (derzeit nicht im Angebot) per day, the skater equipment for € (derzeit nicht im Angebot) per day.
Tobogganing
Are you looking for an activity that will entertain the whole family or do you want to plan a day with your partner? Nothing will bring you closer together than all tobogganing down a slope. For € 20,00 per day, you can experience the fun for yourself with a rented toboggan.
Winter hikes
Do you love the feeling of fresh snow underfoot? Get to know the area around our hotel near Innsbruck by going on a winter hike. For € (derzeit nicht im Angebot) per day we will provide you with suitable snow shoes so that you can venture out and enjoy the countryside.

50m2 rooms with balcony:
All our guests can look forward to staying in a spacious 50m2 room. Each room also has a balcony from which guests have an unobstructed view of the hotel’s natural swimming pool and can watch the starry sky at night.
50m breakfast buffet:
Each morning you can enjoy a 50m-long and richly varied breakfast buffet. There are 15 different types of fruit and 10 different organic mueslis, as well as many other products, to choose from. We also offer fresh juices, salmon, roast beef and veal sausages.
Small but perfectly formed wellness area:
For a really relaxing holiday, pay our wellness area a visit. Here you will find a small steam sauna, a sauna and individual water beds. You can also use our outdoor whirlpool, if it takes your fancy. The use of our wellness facilities is included in the price of your room.
The most animal-friendly hotel in Austria:
Your pets are also welcome to stay at Speckbacher Hof. Whether it be a horse, a dog, a cat, a mouse, a domestic pig, a giraffe or an elephant – our Alpine hotel is ready to welcome all guests. For larger pets, we even have our very own stables (within walking distance of the hotel). Smaller animals will be provided with food and water dishes in their room.
